CHARGES, FEE, RULES AND REGULATIONS

I. RENTAL FEE

Rental fees of the Ransom Activity Center will be set at a predetermined rate established by Ransom Activity Center, Inc. Payment of rental fees may be made using cash, check or Cash App ($RansomActivityCenter).

The set fee for rental is $500, which includes a $200 security deposit, which will be refunded by check in 3 to 5 days after a successful final inspection by a representative of Ransom Activity Center and the renter.

The $200 security deposit is due at contract signing and the remainder is due at least two (2) weeks prior to the event.

II. CANCELLATIONS

Rentals cancelled by the Ransom Activity Center are 100% refundable. Rentals cancelled by the renter before (2) weeks of the scheduled event are 50% refundable. No refunds will be given for cancellations (2) weeks or less prior to the event.

III. LEGAL COMPLIANCE

Groups using the Ransom Activity Center will be responsible for orderly behavior and must conform with state and federal laws, county and/or city ordinances, and rules and regulations of the Ransom Activity Center.

No smoking, drugs, weapons nor drug paraphernalia of any kind are permitted in the Ransom Event Center.

Depending on the activity, as determined by the Ransom Activity Center, Inc., police security may be required before a rental request is granted.

IV. CLEANING/HOUSECLEANING

Named renter(s) on said agreement using the Ransom Event Center must leave the building and premises clean and in the order in which it was found.

No decorations shall be attached to the walls, ceiling nor floors without prior permission.

Extra clean-up or damage incurred during the event may require extra charges in addition to the security deposit.

V. SUPERVISION

A parent or guardian must sign the contract of any minor or youth group requesting rental of the Event Center and must provide adequate adult supervision for each event, as defined by the Ransom Activity Center, Inc.

VI. EQUIPMENT

Rental fee includes use of utilities, normal maintenance, use of Ransom Event Center’s equipment, such as tables, chairs, microwave, refrigerator, and food warmer.

VII. MISCELLANEOUS

The renter must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and must provide a copy of a valid driver license or other age and photo identification.

The Ransom Event Center has an occupancy capacity of 120 people.
