On June 27, 2024, the North Carolina Community Foundation notified the Ransom Center that a grant in the amount of $15,000 has been awarded to the center for air conditioner replacements. This grant award was made possible through a recommendation from the Columbus County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
