About Ransom
Humble Beginnings is the history of the Center’s establishment in 1986. At first an ordinary idea, the vision was to build a one-room location where there would be space to hold community activities. The initial focus was on youth but has now expanded to serve all age groups in all aspects of the community. A holistic approach is used to provide services and opportunities for individuals and families to become an enriched, nurtured, and productive entity in the community.
We operate as a central community foundation dedicated to uplifting and encouraging a strong sense of purpose, and we recognize the importance of meeting the needs of the community. Our overall mission is to promote better health, education, financial stability, and overall well-being of community members. We thrive to live individually and collectively in a life full of challenges and uncertainties of the future.

Our Mission
Promoting, restoring, and protecting the historic value of community through outreach initiatives, entertainment activities, fellowship events, and educational programs that bring enlightenment to community members of all ages and backgrounds. The Ransom Center strives to help one another in the community find their place at a place of purpose (The Ransom Activity Center).
